Safe Naija helps route SOS alerts to nearby security, police, state responders and your contacts. It does not replace dialling national or local emergency services where those services are available and appropriate for your situation.
Limits
No guarantee of response
- A responder, police unit or contact will receive, accept or arrive at an incident
- Help will arrive within any specific time
- Location will always be accurate (GPS, indoor spaces, device settings and network conditions vary)
- Audio, photo or video capture will always succeed
- The app will function without power, connectivity, correct permissions, or an uncompromised device

Your responsibilities
- Grant the permissions the app needs for SOS to work
- Keep the app updated and the device charged where possible
- Do not trigger false alarms
- Follow lawful instructions from responding officers and security personnel
